Join Our Team as an Athletic Director
Riverdale High School is excited to announce an athletic director job opening. We are looking for a passionate individual to lead our athletic programs and foster student-athlete development. If you love sports and want to make a difference in students’ lives, this role is for you!
Your Role
As the Athletic Director, you will oversee our athletic programs. You will work closely with coaches, students, and parents to create a positive environment that promotes teamwork and sportsmanship. Your main focus will be to ensure the success of our athletic teams while prioritizing the well-being of our student-athletes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all athletic programs and events at Riverdale High School.
- Coordinate with coaches to develop training schedules, and enhance skills and team strategies.
- Monitor student-athlete academic performance to ensure they meet eligibility requirements.
- Plan and manage the budget for athletic programs and fundraising activities.
- Promote good sportsmanship and a balanced approach to athletics and academics.
- Organize and conduct regular meetings with coaches, parents, and students.
- Oversee compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding high school athletics.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A degree in Sports Management, Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience in coaching or athletic management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A passion for sports and a commitment to student development.
- Ability to work well with a diverse group of students and staff.
