Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Broiler Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage the daily operations of our broiler farm. You will ensure that our birds are well cared for and meet production goals. If you love working with animals and have a knack for management, this could be the perfect job for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily care of broilers including feeding, watering, and health monitoring.
- Develop and implement feeding plans to optimize growth and ensure quality.
- Maintain records related to bird health, growth rates, and feed efficiency.
- Inspect facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Train and supervise farm staff on best practices for broiler production.
- Implement biosecurity measures to protect flocks.
- Collaborate with veterinarians to implement health protocols.
- Analyze production data and make recommendations for improvements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Agriculture or Animal Science preferred.
- Proven experience in poultry management, especially in broiler production.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
