Your Role
As our Game Reserve Manager, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of the reserve. You will ensure that everything runs smoothly and that both the wildlife and visitors enjoy their time here.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily management of the reserve.
- Ensure the health and safety of all wildlife.
- Manage and lead the wildlife monitoring team.
- Maintain the reserve’s facilities, including lodges and roads.
- Work with conservation teams to develop and implement sustainable practices.
- Train and mentor staff to promote excellent visitor experiences.
- Plan and conduct educational programs for our guests.
- Collaborate with local communities to support conservation efforts.
Who We Are Looking For
The right candidate for this Game Reserve Manager job will be someone who loves nature and has experience in wildlife management. You should be a strong leader and have a knack for problem-solving. If you enjoy working outdoors and want to make a difference, this role is for you!
Requirements:
- Degree in Wildlife Management, Conservation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in wildlife management.
- Strong understanding of ecological principles.
- Experience managing teams and projects.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Proficient in MS Office and basic management software.
